SkipperSeil Ltd. participated in the 14th CII-EXIM Bank Conclave on India Africa Project Partnership as Gold Sponsor during March 17-19, 2019 at the Taj Palace, New Delhi.
CII organized conclave brought together participants from Africa and India and this event was supported by Government of India. Inaugurated on March 17, 2019, the 14th edition of the conclave aimed to strengthen bilateral relations between India and Africa.
Being a lead participant at the Round Table on “Securing Long-Term Energy Security, Creating a Green Tomorrow”, Ms Poonam Sachdeva, Jt. Group President, SkipperSeil emphasized the importance of CII conclave for providing a platform for understanding the aspirations of people of India and Africa. She also suggested the Indian investors to understand the actual need of African countries and propose the long term Energy Solutions. Skipper since entering the African region way back in 2000, has done many projects of Solar, Rural Electrification and Power improvement as per the need of land. For creating a green tomorrow, African countries can rely on vast experience and expertise of India.
Mr. Surinder Kumar Negi, President & CEO, SkipperSeil Ltd. was member of Panel on “Country Session on Republic of Ghana”. He highlighted on Power Infrastructure development, which is lifeline of human living. Looking at the strategic location in Ghana in world map, Renewable Energy potential is huge and it could be very well planned with 49% Hydro generation already existing in Ghana. He also explained the active role of SkipperSeil in Ghana through 161kV Berekum substation and line in GRIDCo and 33kV Substations at Kisseman and Konongo in ECG.
Skipper also had an exhibition stall showcasing the product range and EPC projects executed/undertaken in recent years.
