Skipper participated as main sponsor in 6th Power Nigeria Exhibition at Landmark centre, Lagos, between September 5-7, 2017. It is an ideal platform for the entire Power market value chain, from key decision makers to solutions, equipment and services providers. Skipper was honored to have many dignitaries visit its stand, including Mr. Usman Gur Mohammed, Managing Director of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), Sen. Enyinnaya Abaribe, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Power, His Excellency BN Reddy, the Indian High Commissioner. All the Visitors got a chance to view Skipper’s world-class product range including Metering Panel, Distribution Transformer and Package Substation. Skipper showcased its complete product range as well as its latest ongoing and completed power sector projects in TCN, MOP, Federal Government & various Nigerian states through graphics.
Mr. Jitender Sachdeva, hosted a special dinner on 5th September in Spice Route, Lagos. The Dinner was attended by Chairman (Senate Committee on Power), Chairman (House Committee on Power), Chairman (Eko Bank), Chairman (Fidelity Bank), Chairman (Eko Distribution Company), MD (Siemens Nigeria Ltd) many other dignitaries, exhibitors of Power Nigeria and Skipper team. It was a perfect opportunity for guests to network and forge new business relationships. In his welcome address, the Group President spoke about Nigeria and its high demand for power and Infrastructure development. He highlighted the increasing importance of bringing manufacturing excellence to Nigeria.
